What it is like to work with me

What services do I offer?

I offer flexible options to suit your lifestyle, schedule, and comfort level:

  • Individual Counselling (50 minutes): One-on-one weekly or fortnightly sessions tailored to your unique goals and personal journey.

  • Online or Telephone Sessions: Secure video or Telephone counselling allowing you to access therapy from the comfort and familiarity of your own space.

  • Walk-and-Talk Therapy: Outdoor, nature-based counselling sessions for those who feel more at ease processing thoughts while moving in an open environment.

  • Short-Term & Long-Term Work: Available for both focused, goal-oriented short-term support and deeper, open-ended exploration.

What We Can Explore Together?

Humanistic counselling can help with a wide range of life experiences and emotional challenges, including:

  • Autism and neurodivergent identity, burnout, and masking

  • Anxiety, stress, and feeling overwhelmed

  • Low self-esteem, self-doubt, and personal growth

  • Navigating grief, loss, and major life transitions

  • Relationship difficulties and patterns of connection

  • A general sense of feeling stuck, lost, or disconnected from purpose

Stepping into therapy can feel daunting, especially if you are already feeling burnt out or overwhelmed. My goal is to offer a soft landing place where you can drop the mask, catch your breath, and be fully heard.

Whether you are trying to process a profound loss, navigate the complexities of being a neurodivergent adult in a neurotypical world, or simply figure out who you are beneath the weight of burnout, we will go at your pace.

“You don't have to navigate it alone. If you'd like to see if we might be a good fit, please feel free to reach out to schedule a gentle initial chat.”

How can we work together?

What you can expect from me

Therapy isn't a one-size-fits-all process, and the way I practice is shaped by a deep belief that you are the expert on your own life. Here is what sets my approach apart:

Neurodiversity-Affirming: Many traditional therapeutic models are built for neurotypical brains, leaving neurodivergent clients feeling misunderstood or pressured to mask. My practice is designed to actively unpick that. We won't try to fit you into a rigid framework; instead, we will honor how your unique brain processes the world, handles emotion, and experiences burnout.

Holding Space for All Forms of Grief: Grief doesn't only happen when someone passes away. Whether you are mourning the loss of a past version of yourself, the unlived life before a late diagnosis, or the exhausting cycle of midlife burnout and PMDD, I look at grief holistically. All of your losses are valid and welcome here.

Autonomy at the Centre: As a humanistic integrative counsellor, I don’t sit across from you as an authority figure with all the answers. My role is to walk alongside you as an equal collaborator, helping you unpack the layers of expectation, societal pressure, and internal demands so you can find what truly works for you.

A Mask-Free Zone: If you spend your daily life masking, code-switching, or holding everything together for everyone else, therapy should be the place where you finally get to put that heavy armor down. You don't need to perform, explain away your traits, or apologise for how you feel here.
